After leaving university with a degree in social history and heritage studies, John worked for Nexus Media (later Highbury House Communications) as an editor on consumer hobbyist and craft titles. He also worked as a freelance features writer for various magazines before starting his own publishing business.
In 2007, John sold his business in order to concentrate on his fast growing sunglasses product range, Rapid Eyewear. Having initially concentrated on selling to the specialist sports and leisure trades, following the 2008 financial crisis, John switched the focus of his business to selling direct to consumers through ecommerce channels. Since that time the business has gone from strength to strength, with an especially strong presence on Amazon and eBay sites both in the UK and abroad.
John brings his many, many years of taking and editing photographs for both publications and ecommerce purposes to Kent Ecommerce.
Our 'young gun' Joe has a level 3 Media Studies Diploma (K College, Tonbridge) under his belt. Joe brings his knowledge of photography, web-based media and manipulation software (including Photoshop) to the table.
If you need someone to 'hold your hand' and get the job done in our studio, Joe will be on hand to help. He has already made his mark at our company by extensively photographing our own product ranges both in the studio and also on location with fashion models. Using Photoshop Joe has also edited the various photographs he has taken.
